Hardware and Applications Support Specialist
Directly responsible for daily operations of the Montreal Customer Service Center, adidas owned retail stores in the region and Montreal warehouse facilities, which included servers, client computers, cash registers, phones, AV equipment, networking and alarm systems. Provided remote assistance to the sales force, adidas owned retail stores, suppliers, adidas Distribution Center and Vancouver Office. Specialized in SAP Business Objects user support for the country.
Coordinated and implemented a project to consolidate and standardize phone system programming and menu options for 3 facilities, reducing dependency on the telecom provider by 50%.
Participated in phone system hardware upgrade integrating multiple facilities under one phone system, resulting in a 50% reduction in abandoned calls and 60% reduction in wait times.
Worked with local and global ISP’s to upgrade WAN/LAN in the Montreal facility to accommodate incoming SAP environment and VoIP phone system, resulting in 300% increase in bandwidth, on time, on budget, with no downtime.

Headed up plan to switch from static IP addresses to DHCP assigned address for all computer and devices in the Canadian network, eliminating tech support calls for remote users trying to connect outside the office and simplifying internal installs.
Reduced programming on the Montreal phone system by 50%, by eliminating the need to mirror options from the phone system, on the voice mail system.
