• Developed mass & energy balances on VF2 monomer and polymer process in automated MS Excel spreadsheet using Visual Basic coding and met department objectives Expatriate Process Engineer, Serquigny, France (Sept 1992 to July 1996) Worked in Polyamide Process Engineering Group SPPA while responsible for Polymerization Department production lines 1 to 16 (Polyamide 11, 12, Pebax®) and effluents systems; main projects include the daily assistance of Fabrication Department (FAB/A), start-up assistance of new installations, conception of new industrial production lines, improvements of existing processes and related equipment in considering product yield and quality, and process assistance of foreign affiliates (Birdsboro, USA & Bonn, Germany). • Designed and installed inline viscosimeter in Line #16 reactor for real time monitoring of polymerization completion with 10% increase in meeting quality specifications

• Developed steam and nitrogen purge protocol to improve deoxygenation of prepolymerizer by 25% Polymerization Plant Engineer, Birdsboro, PA (May 1987 to Sep 1992) During a ten and a half week period, worked as Polymerization and Nylon Extrusion Operator in the plant due to a union strike. After settlement, resumed activities in Engineering Department in production concentrating on quality problems and improvements in Polymerization (especially Pebax process). Began diversifying activities into process engineering with more emphasis on quality and process improvement in Polymerization. Worked on and coordinated the production and processing of plant MTR's. • Improved copolymer viscosity variation 10% – 15% by using statistical control charts

• Designed a more reliable adipic acid system for Pebax process and copoly process and reduced downtime by 33% by using Pareto analysis

• Studied architecture and perfected configuration of Polymerization's Moore Products Multi-loop Controller DCS Process Computer System allowing efficient automated operation of Line #4

• Innovated and installed a batch/data entry system of IBM-based computer programs w/dBASEIII+
