Further instruct on documenting, collecting, preserving, and processing physical evidence correctly, analyzing it thoroughly, and understanding its relevance to cases with special emphasis on forensic science application and physical evidence recognition and collection.
Criminal Profiling – Instruction on the basic concepts behind criminal profiling or behavioral analysis. Further instruction on analyzing the interaction between criminal behavior and distinct crime scene indicators using deductive reasoning and critical thinking skills with the goal of helping create investigative strategy for the detection, apprehension and prosecution of perpetrators.
Diversity in American Life – Instruction on the challenges and opportunities presented by a diverse workplace and society. Examining the historical roots of today’s demographics in America and consider how our population compares to those of other societies. Allow open dialogue about the controversies around current issues with special emphasis on the multicultural experience in American society regarding race, class, gender, age, political, physical, and other more subtle forms of diversity.
