JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

A medical laboratory specialist who examines body fluid such as blood and urine, or tissues from biopsies and Pap smears, checks the accuracy of lab tests, and interprets the results in order to facilitate the patient’s diagnosis and treatment.

Analyses body chemistry from patient samples and help to develop suitable treatments.

Diagnoses disease by analyzing human tissue, often using a microscope.

Examines cultures through a microscope to identify microorganisms. Advises on the use of antibiotics and infection control for individual patients and within the environment.

Researches allergies, autoimmune disorders and diseases of the immune system

Excellent laboratory skills, scientific and practical knowledge of clinical laboratory science

works in many areas of the medical laboratory and serve as the lab Director with advanced supervisory and leadership skills, personal adaptability and ability to lead change.

Works as head of departmental professional Quality Control and Quality Assurance activities.

Excellent organizational and work scheduling skills.

Develops and establishes measures to improve the quality of medical services provided by the practice, ensure good working standards at all times of laboratory staff, procedures and techniques.

conducted by regional association of angamaly medical technologist,SME,MG university.
