Complete fiscal responsibility for this 230-unit condominium hotel managed by the principals of The Biltmore Hotel (see below), including banking, insurance, legal, tax compliance, human resources, payroll and employee benefits program. Successfully negotiated reduced rate for credit card processing fees, resulting in approximate annual savings to hotel of $50,000. Also was technical advisor for PMS and POS systems at this property and others controlled by parent company, and played a key role in the complete system conversions and user training at this property and several others. In addition to my own staff, I supervised an assistant controller and bookkeeper at two of the company’s other hotels and performed the month-end closing and preparation of financial statements at all three properties.
