Dear Representative,

I am Jimmy Corkern Jr. and am very excited about the possibility of starting a new chapter in life with a company that will offer new challenges and goals. I am 51 years old and have a ton of real world experience including 30 years of sales, marketing and management. While I am not completely sure I know or understand exactly what it is this position entails I am confident that my strong background in outside sales and marketing plus my experience in working one on one with people will certainly prove to be an asset to your company. My other roles included networking and in-home sales and those experiences should also serve me well as a representative of your agency.

While it may not apply I am currently an agent/producer for Family First Life and have been registered/licensed in Louisiana and Mississippi for over a year now. I am from St. Tammany and Washington Parishes, live here and have worked in both St. Tammany and Washington Parishes. I know and like the area and relate well to the people and business owners and leaders of the community. As I have lived and worked in the here all my life and have an existing network of friends, associates, businesses and community leaders to draw from I believe this would be an asset to any role I undertake.

I would also like to mention my keys to success. Of course there is hard work, dedication and integrity but the main key to my success is my people skills. I have spent many years studying, learning from and working with people and groups of people and truly believe my sales success and success in general is due to my understanding of people. I am a people person. I like people and people like me. I trust people and people trust me and these are the things that have made me successful over the years.

As I conclude a few final thoughts: All you have to do is look at my accomplishments to know that I am a hard worker, that I work well with others both one on one and in groups and that I am self motivated. Given the opportunity, I will bring these and all my other skills, qualities and experience along with me to the benefit of you and your company. I certainly have more to relate and look forward to the opportunity to meeting and discussing in more detail how I would prove to be an asset to your company. I am very excited about this opportunity, taking on a new challenge and helping grow and expand your business. Bottom-line is this - I am not looking for a job; I am looking for a new opportunity and a new career and again, as stated earlier I truly believe that this may be exactly what I am looking for. Again, if I haven’t stressed this enough I am confident that I can be successful in this role and be an asset to you and to you company.

I look forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks for the opportunity.

Sincerely,

Jimmy Corkern Jr
