Geospatial Project Manager II (2008-2014)

Oversaw all day to day geospatial operations for Sprint’s roaming team while providing weekly analytics for upper management, daily ad hoc requests and carrier coverage updates for both international and domestic roaming partners.

Managed Sprint’s geospatial coverage team responsibilities. This included maintaining coverage integrity, database updates, data dissemination, ad hoc requests, substantiation of marketing claims and new coverage build plans.

Researched, evaluated and recommended hardware and software for Sprint’s geographic information system needs.

Integrated over five hundred of Sprint’s domestic and international roaming partner’s coverage footprints into Sprints geospatial roaming database annually. This was vital for cost saving initiatives. As less expensive roaming partner’s footprints grew it provided the opportunity to remove more costly carriers from Sprints national footprint.

Generated and disseminated 32 geospatial coverage layers monthly to Sprint internal and external facing coverage tools. These tools were used for troubleshooting customer care issues, phone activations and providing basic coverage information to the Sprint customer.

Automated and distributed with Sprint, user-driven online mapping tools utilizing ArcGIS, ArcGIS Portal and Alteryx. This cut down the number of ad hoc requests while making the most recent coverage information available to most employees.

Geospatial Supervisor (2006-2008)

Supervised Sprints geospatial roaming group. Oversaw database integrity and implemented a series of checks and balances to ensure database accuracy as well as facilitating ad hoc mapping requests.

Supervised staff additions while providing software training for new team members on ESRI, MapInfo, ArcGIS and Alteryx software.

Conceptualized and created tools for monitoring and reporting the integrity of Sprint’s geospatial roaming coverage database.

Designed and implemented Sprint’s roaming geospatial database and established how the data was disseminated corporate wide through coverage tools and monthly analytic reports.

Automated and distributed within Sprint, user-driven online mapping tools utilizing Oracle Spatial, SQL server, MapGuide, MapInfo and MapExtreme software.

Geospatial Analyst I (1999-2001)

Responsible for obtaining, incorporating and updating 53 of Sprint’s domestic roaming partner’s voice coverage footprint shapefiles.
