Forklift Operator: Responsible for loading and unloading 8 different stations with the proper metal pieces, in order to produce different parts used in the assembly of rail cars. And to make sure those parts get to the proper station within the facility.
Specialty Operator II: Loading a 1000 degree + furnace with metal pieces that are cut from a plasma cutter. Those heated metal pieces are then loaded into a 600 Ton punch press that forms the hot metal pieces into different parts.

Carrier Air Conditioning, Tyler, TX: February, 1990 to December, 2013
Served as Crew Leader with responsibility for ensuring parts were made and on-hand for units currently in production. Assigned work to a group of 6 to 8 workers and made sure the raw materials were
on-hand for producing needed components.
As a Machine Set-Up and Operator, set-up machines, including setting the dies. For each new part, first compared the component to the template provided. If discrepancies were found, notified the Tool and Die room so dies could be reset. The first piece produced was then sent to the laboratory for inspection before production continued.
Produced parts from metal, making adjustments to the machine to control speed, material feed and path of the punch as a Press Operator, also assembling parts to be run in the Fin Press. Performed period checks on the output to ensure the machine was working at full capacity and producing quality products. Started with entry-level job as an Assembler, assembling parts for air conditioning units.
