Working as a system analyst I have learn a lot about maintaining a proper and reliable system. Ensuring that the system is up to date help to do the job more efficient. Backing up the system, doing testing, system restores help in preparing for any events of any kind of failure. Every month end the system is close off and an excel report is created to show the usages and revenue collected for that month. This report is present to the CEO, CFO and IT manager. It is important for the manger to know what is going on with the system and company at the end of the day. Every day the system is close off properly and ready for the next working day. Every day the system is backup and records are kept to show if anything happen during the backup.

Another function as the system analyst is setting up user rights for the system to ensure that they only have access to the documents requested. Researching and making recommendations to the system hardware and software is a way of keeping up with technology.

Writing the policies and procedures for the department help to ensure that all rule and regulations are followed. The rules and procedures are updated as often as every three months to ensure that the department is up to date with any improvement

Working for ANGLEC I was able to accomplish a lot. One of the project that I was involved in was a success. The project consists of using mobile field force to send work orders to the trouble call crew which is easier than sending paper work. This project lead to an extra phase which include reading meters and disconnecting, reconnecting customers from within the company.
