Mr. Mario Capitelli is highly accomplished Senior Executive, with 40 years of proven expertise in program management, operations, business development, aircraft production- both military and commercial, delivery of complex integrated military systems and DoD acquisition. Through his extensive senior executive experience, he is an effective and strategic leader with a proven track record of developing strategies and innovative methods to achieve competitive advantages and direct large and complex industrial operations. Recently, Mr. Capitelli is engaged in consulting for general management, operations and business development projects for various Aerospace companies: i.e. Raytheon, Lone Star, Holdingham Group LTD. Rockwell Collins, Eaton, Industries, General Dynamics, Finmeccanica, DRS Technologies.

Mr. Mario Capitelli is a visionary, strategist and tactician with a consistent record of delivering results in achieving operational excellence, and profitability through the pursuit of customer satisfaction and continuous process improvement. Mr. Capitelli has proven ability, vision, determination and skills needed to lead cross-functional teams and increase empowerment levels to achieve high-level revenue-building strategies and tactics. Prior to Mr. Capitelli’s departure from Alenia Aermacchi North America, his notable leadership experience included the position of Senior Vice President of Business Development and T-X Executive Capture Lead. In this capacity, Mr. Capitelli had direct oversight and responsibility of Alenia North America’s business development portfolio, and specific leadership focusing on managing the day-to-day strategy and capture activities of the USAF T-X campaign.

Mr. Capitelli joined Alenia Aermacchi North America in 2007 as the Chief Executive Officer of Global Aeronautica, LLC, a joint venture between Alenia North America Inc., a Finmeccanica Company, Vought Aerostructures and The Boeing Company. During Mr. Capitelli’s leadership at Global Aeronautica, the plant successfully delivered 2 P a g e

four mid-fuselage sections of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner with increasing levels of configuration to the Boeing final assembly facility in Everett, Wash. Mr. Capitelli executed improvements to the company’s benefits package, provided additional services to employees and effectively implemented improved business and manufacturing processes throughout the organization.

Upon the sale of the joint venture to The Boeing Company, he led the seamless transition process during the change in ownership for the joint venture without delay or disruption to production or business operations.

Still working for Alenia Aermacchi North America after the sale of Global Aeronautica, Mr. Capitelli came on board the staff at the Washington DC headquarters. He concentrated his efforts towards the design/build of the new C-27J production facility in Jacksonville, FL. Unfortunately, the facility plan was discontinued upon USAF announcement to reduce the total quantity of aircraft by approximately 50%. After Jacksonville, FL, ended, Mr. Capitelli accepted the position of Senior Vice President of Business Development and capture lead for the USAF T-X campaign which he held until his departure from Alenia Aermacchi North America in 2012. Before joining Alenia Aermacchi North America, Mr. Capitelli spent 33 years at Northrop Grumman in various executive positions in operations and program management, where most recently he served as the Program Director and Production Transition IPT Leader on the Tanker Replacement Program Capture Team.

During his career at Northrop Grumman, Mr. Capitelli led the company’s Joint STARS Production Program. In this executive role, he was responsible for managing and directing all production activities, test and sell-off of the Joint STARS integrated weapon system to the USAF. He was responsible for directing, successfully, the completion and sell-off of all 17 production aircraft.

Other senior management positions at Northrop Grumman included Director of Manufacturing Operations at Airborne Ground Surveillance / Integrated Sector, and Director Program Management at Electronics Strategic Business Unit of the former Grumman Electronics System Division.

Mr. Capitelli holds a dual bachelor’s degree in economics and psychology from New York State University at Oneonta and Masters of Business Administrations from New York Institute of Technology.
