The main objective of this project is to convert the Enterprise Corporate Utilities employee ID format to Alphanumeric to prevent exhaustion of employee IDs for future users of MSD systems.
Employee number is used throughout automated systems at USAA. It is used, in conjunction with Social Security Number, in Human Resource and Payroll systems to identify employees, retirees and retire survivors and ex-employees. It is used, together with a two-character subsystem ID, as a logon ID to USAA’s mainframe and client/server systems.

The objective of Application Replacement Program – Reporting and Analysis (ARP-R&A) is to strategically reposition P&C’s legacy Business Administration Systems (BAS) applications, providing enhanced analytical and integrated operational reporting capabilities for all P&C business communities. The BAS application has many sub systems and each sub system is used to generate reports and feed the data into the downstream applications.

USAA has distributed its insurance application among six Companies as per the previous claims history of insured. The objective of this Tactical Legal Structure project is to Change all the reporting and analysis systems to meet reporting requirements for New Company. The current system program contains Hard Coded Company, Risk and Eligibility Variable. This project will externalize these hard coded variables related to Company, and Eligibility in the subsystems mentioned above.
