I am interested in applying for a position at your facility. As I entered the profession of social work, I was drawn

to such an amazing population that includes clients of all ages. After the experience I had with my family living

in Ghana West Africa as a refugee, I knew this was the career for me. Practicing this population is important

to me because it helps me to better understand my clients and families in order to assist their individual needs

and wants; as well as coming together as a family.

I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to work at Rush Elementary school and Associates Home Care.

I have completed my bachelor’s degree at Mansfield University in Social Work. In my coursework, I had

focused on the welfare and needs of clients, family members and their health problems. Also, I have the ability

and experience to help people care for themselves; and the experience of taking care of people that are unable

to care themselves. Throughout the completion of my degree, I have realized that this type of work builds my

passion because I feel good whenever I assist my clients.
