IINTRODUCTION AND PERSONAL STATEMENT

I’m an adaptable and innovative Mechanical Designer with over 10 year experience creating cost efficient models (3D) and drawings (2D) for producible steel constructions from Sheet metal and Piping. In the mentioned period I have joined a group of engineering team modeling and producing Arrangement and Fabrication drawings for Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Coolers, Vessel Separation Internals, Storage capacities and custom made process lines and connections (fittings & flanges) for Gas and Oil industry.

After joining the Supply Chain Management department in past 4 years, I have also gained knowledge in QA & QC engineering and acquired inspection, expediting and supervising skills. My activities were including review of client specifications, application standards and vendor’s QA/QC documentation. My experiences include also various areas in field such as fabrication processes, management of nonconformance, control of welding activities in work shop including shop and welders supervising and control of quality of manufactured items to meet the industry and regularity standards. In compliance with EN-ISO 14731 and EN-ISO 3834, I am also an IIW/IIS qualified International Welding Technologist (IWT) with over 6 year of experience in different conventional fusion welding processes (GTAW 141, GMAW/FCAW 131-7 and SMAW 111) with extensive knowledge about Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Welding Qualifications Records (PQR) and Welder Performance Qualifications (WPQ) acc. to EN-ISO 15609 and EN-ISO 15614, EN- ISO 9606, AWS and ASME IX.

I am also holding various diplomas for HSE and Safety for Operational Supervisors. E.g. Dutch VCA and Working in Confined Spaces (Inspections).

After successfully having met the education and relevant training requirements, I have gained a wide range of technical skills and experiences through past 20 years by designing, quality control and also manufacturing and inspection of qualified steel constructions for different disciplines and various applications as specified below:

Mechanical Engineering:

o 3D and 2D CAD Mechanical design (3D models and drawings) based on interpretation of application standards and client specifications framed by company’s internal engineering rules and regulations. Provision of support and assistance to start from concept design up to finalized modeling followed by mono or sheet set drawing outputs. o Drawing management and revision control throughout project life cycle. o Providing technical and functional supports at quotation stage to relevant disciplines e.g. sales R&D and process engineering.

o Automation and creating tools, library and welding related details and symbols within the Auto desk and Microsoft products in accordance with European and AWS guidelines and using those on manufacturing drawings.

o Standardization of products and models for resizable products within Autodesk AutoCad and Inventor.

o Provision of assistance and point of contact for welding related queries and questions on the drawings from clients and manufacturers (external) and Engineering and project department, R&D, Field engineers and sales department (internal). o Generating Installation Manuals for constructions as designed. o Knowledge of interaction between engineering applications (Auto desk products) and Microsoft office package (linking and embedding).

QA/QC and Supplier Management:

o Holding and Hosting of QA meeting (PIM) and inspections including review and interpretation of quality documents for contract assignments. o Review of suppliers QA and QC documents and performing arbitrary and annual audits at suppliers.

o Design of Technical specifications relevant to but not limited to Welding, Fabrication, Quality, Inspection, Packing, Shipment and storage. o Production of standard user forms e.g. Reporting Templates, NCRs and etc. o Review of vendors’ production processes and programs, procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance with the industry, application and regularity standards. o Ability to expediting and monitoring of the manufacturing activities at any location all over the world in order to maintain the production schedule to meet the pre-defined and required criteria’s.

o Provision of technical supports and inputs for cost reduction programs and optimizing production efficiencies.

o Ensuring the NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) have been issued when necessary and monitoring of the suppliers to ensure that the corrective and preventive actions are agreed, recorded and maintained.

o Performing Final Acceptance Tests (FATs) and final inspections at the suppliers. Preparations of Inspection reports (IR), identifying root cause when applicable and distribution to relevant and appropriate disciplines and the suppliers for corrections and for final release of the goods. o Limited experience with NDE techniques such as PT, MT, RT and UT and relevant procedures and reports.

o Working closely with the manufacturers to identify and track project benefits and possible improvements.

o Performing welding supervisions and coordination according to En-Iso 14731. Generate, management and interpretation of welding procedures and qualifications in accordance with standards and codes such as ASME and EN-ISO and/or other additional requirements and specifications.

o Preparation, management and witnessing of welding and welder/operator qualification and assisting external authorized certification organizations (NoBo). o Sound knowledge of welding joints configurations, weldments and fabrication techniques and methods. Coordination and plan of fabrication capacities and establishing and automation of fabrication processes.

o Supporting of QA/QC program establishment and audits and implementation of internal or external quality procedures.

o Performing and maintaining vendor’s progress records in order to meet project and production schedule.

o Control of the quality of manufacturer’s inspections activities. o Inspection and release of end-product according to project requirements, specifications and relevant drawings.

o Advance use of MS office applications (Word, Excel & Power Point). o Outstanding organizational and communicational (written and spoken) skills and able to work within differential and multi discipline based environments. Operational and field skills:
