Projects Details:
A Project was done in my graduation institution MLR Institute of Technology Campus, on a title named “Modeling and analysis of lightweight vehicle brakes”. This includes mainly disc and drum brakes as they are lightweight vehicles. The aim of the project is to identify vehicle’s braking efficiency as the brakes are foremost safety equipment in the vehicle under driver control. The forces which may undergo some changes during braking are analyzed in this project. The thermal analysis is also done on the disc bake rotor by giving braking time and heat flux for the material as input in ANSYS workbench software. By this the justified material for rotor and the bake efficiency can be analyzed by various thermal outputs.
A project was done namely “Manufacturing of roll cage for race car”, in which the model of roll cage is done according to the driver comfort and all components of the vehicle which are to be inserted in the roll cage and analyzed on various dynamic conditions of vehicle and optimization is done according to the results. The roll cage was designed in software called solidworks virtually and it is analyzed by giving the estimated loads on it in various driving and extreme crashing conditions. By these results the optimized roll cage was manufactured.
