Name of the Project: Solar tracking system with smart irrigation Duration of the Project: Five months.

Location of the Project: BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore. Outcome of the Project: The project was conducted successfully.

With reference to the 2006 IEEE paper, the solar tracker was developed to eliminate the disadvantage and also use the obtained energy of the solar tracker.

The solar tracker which is automatic does not depend on time and respond to the seasonal variation of the rising and setting of the sun.

LDRs are used as the sensor to the solar panel, according to the senor current variation the solar Panel is forced to move the direction of the sun.

There is a re-chargeable battery to use the obtained electric energy from the solar panel.

The moisture of the soil is sensed by the moisture sensor, according to the variation in sensors current the pump is turned ON and OFF.

2. Project in final semester DIPLOMA.

Name of the Project: Biometric attendance system.

Duration of the Project: Five months.

Location of the Project: AECT Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore. Outcome of the Project: The project was conducted successfully.

The Project was developed to eliminate the spurious attendance and problem of maintaining the register.

A list of people attendance is enrolled earlier in EEPROM

A finger print scanner is used to scan; the captured figure print is verified and asks for the IN and OUT option.

Accordingly the attendance at logging IN and OUT will be recorded in the memory.

PAPERS PRESENTED:

1. Name of the Paper: Solar tracking system with smart irrigation. Paper Details:

According to the survey of 20016 IEEE paper, a solar tracker was developed to eliminate the time dependent solar tracker.

To use the energy obtained we have implemented the smart irrigation, to turn ON and OFF the pump according to the requirement and not to waste the water. Name of the Conference: 7th IETE IConRFW-2014.

Date of the Conference: 8-10 May 2014.

Place of the Conference held: HKBK College of Engg., Bangalore. 2. Name of the Paper: Registering an image using Normalized cross correlation. Paper Details:

Registering of two images is performed using normalized cross correlation.

In this it requires two images one is the main image and the sub image which is being chosen from the main image.
