Responsible for overall RDC warehouse oversight, including operations, logistics/warehousing, Lean Process Management, tax reconciliation and long-term planning for the 2nd largest RDC in the country for the largest winery in the world. Our Regional Distribution Center shipped out 11 million cases of alcohol in 2012.
KEY HIGHLIGHTS
2010-2012 Top Gallo Regional Distribution Center in the World three years in a row based upon overall metrics including: inventory record accuracy, shipping errors, damage claims, warehouse damage, unexplained product loss, throughput cases per hour and on-time delivery.
Increased overall productivity by 13.2% in 2011 by implementing a cross dock operation, zone picking strategy, streamlining pick and replenish processes, created our Process Improvement Team and implementing improved hiring and training policies.
Responsible for establishing a safety program for the entire G3 Logistics Department that led to a Total Case Incident Rate of 1.66 in 2011 compared to a 2.20 TCIR in 2010.
Total expenses including payroll were over 10% under budget for 2010 and 2011.
