Team Development - Responsible for recruiting and managing the growth of the production operations from one engineer and a technician to 13 engineers, 7 professionals and 3 support personnel along with 80 contract production operators. Field Development Planning and Execution – NOEX: South Pass 65 - Principal Engineering Manager, front-end engineering, managed procurement process; bid evaluation and vendor selection, 35 wells, multiple platforms, 300 ft. water depth, 1000% increase in production, 20% below budgeted AFE, 25 Million Dollar Project, reported to Nippon executives in Japan, daily operations reporting and cost tracking, post project analysis report.

NOEX: Sabine Pass 13 - $90 million project, field redevelopment, in- field drilling, 2 drill wells, 3 Recompletions, supervised engineers; engineering techs; well site supervisor, drilling professionals, generated AFE’s, ran and coordinated projects, interfaced with managers in Tokyo and United States offices.

Acquisitions and Divestitures - Century: East Texas & South Louisiana Wilcox Tight Oil Play – Co-Leader of the Team that generated multiple South Louisiana Eocene drilling opportunities, plus a 175 square mile 3D project that focused on the Wilcox formation. Nine different project areas for Wilcox opportunities were assembled and recently divested to Halcon Resources. Over 20K acres were assembled with an NPV10 of almost $300MM. Halcón Resources recently acquired these properties and anticipates a robust vertical and horizontal drilling program, Tuscaloosa Marine Shale Play – play developed and sold the acreage position to Goodrich and Devon.

NOEX: Devon Tier 1 Package -Championed 350 MM$ acquisition, conducted due diligence, integrated operations and managed transfer of information.

Gold King: Lead the engineering duties for the acquisition of EnerVest/Hilcorp asset (legacy Texaco fields); Executed divestiture plan 40% ahead of the planned schedule. Asset package sold to Dune for a substantial EV.

Fiscal Management -- Supervised an average capital budget of 200 MM$ and an operating budget of 50 MM$ during my tenure at NOEX. Supervised an average capital budget of 70 MM$ and an operating budget of 8 MM$ during my tenure at CEHI.

Long Term Strategic Planning and Near Term Tactical Planning - NOEX: Hurricane Ike/Gustav Response and Restoration Team, each project was a $10 Million plus Team Leader, managed Hurricane response team for Nippon Oil Exploration; evacuated personnel, executed successful evacuation and restoration due to strong vendor alliance coupled with dedication and expertise.

Provided the Lead Petroleum Engineering functions; analyzed key data; prepared and presented critical recommendations regarding the Subsea Enhanced Oil Recovery for K2 Deepwater partnership non-operated assets to senior management locally and with senior management from the Tokyo Head-Office. -(Project Size = 1110 MM$)

Provided technical guidance and technical representation for JX Nippon at K-2 Partnership meetings that included industry partners such as Anadarko, Eni, Conoco, Ecopetrol, and MCX.

Performed the Material Balance performance study of the prolific M-20 reservoir (OOIP= 500 – 700 MMSTBO). Key study results illustrated the presence of some limited aquifer support which was utilized to improve our reservoir simulation results to provide realistic results that are in line with benchmark analogs.

Presented M-20 results to K-2 partnership and JX senior management team; received very favorable feedback from the key stakeholders in the project.
