Provide overall management of the mining, processing, quality, rail and truck load out, maintenance and engineering departments (union). 4.5 million tons mined and 3.8 million tons sold per year.

Exceeded 2014 EBITDA by $14M over budget ($139M versus $125M - 12% increase)

Increased the daily mined tonnages by 43% while reducing the size of the mining fleet

Increased process/sold tonnage by 5% (350 tons per day) by implementing an in-process sampling and testing program from the mine to the load out facilities

Reduced unplanned electrical and mechanical maintenance from 4% to 1% (75% decrease)

Guided the “Benchmarking/Technical Services” group. Managed the Productivity Optimization Program along with technical assistance to all regions within the division (Aggregates and Ready Mix). Provide technical due diligence for mergers and acquisitions in the areas of capital evaluation & asset management environmental liability, reserve evaluation, and economic analysis. Piloted 6 Sigma program for Ready Mix.

MARINE OPERATIONS MANAGER (Sep 1999 - Apr 2000)

Bolstered the sand dredging and three off loading facilities within the San Francisco bay area (union and non-union). Integrated two marine acquisitions.
