David A. Hughes Cover Letter:
To help you learn more about my track record, I have enclosed my resume. While I illustrate my experience and training, what it cannot communicate is my dedication to my craft. My professional creed includes:
Pride in the quality of my work, and a willingness to personally perform even the most menial tasks to remove project obstacles and get the job done.
Ability to envision how specific parts of the project should look and flow, and communicate those ideas to engineers, vendor contractors, designers, and upper management, always with positive results.
Expertise in engineering prints assessment and collaborating with engineers throughout the course of a job to point out oversights that would unnecessarily cost the company time and money.
Skilled in building lasting relationships with vendors, who frequently request project advice. Excellent skills in guiding, motivating, training and mentoring other project assistants assigned to me.
Based on my experience and strong commitment to my craft, I know I will add significant value to your team. As a Project Manager with your organization I would bring my skill, experience, knowledge and leadership to every project focusing on satisfying our customer. As a former business owner, I understand the importance of a satisfied customer and the benefit of customer referrals. Furthermore, I work well with others, and feel my experience owning and operating my own business has provided me a unique working understanding of all areas of business operations and how they interact with each other. I look forward to discussing my capabilities in more detail, and am available for a personal interview at your convenience. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
David A. Hughes
