Maintenance Manager, plant engineer

The Toro Company - Sanford, FL - September 2005 to June 2015 Managed the everyday technical operations and maintenance of the plant. Provided technical training for maintenance team. Scheduled work orders for repairs and preventive maintenance. Project manager for building expansions and production floor layout. Managed the maintenance budget and reported

directly to the plant operations manager. This was also a hands on position

(mostly by choose). especially when new lines needed to be installed or when parts needed to be made in the machine shop.

Liquidtain Corp - Rochester, NY - June 1985 to April 1988 Worked as a plant maintenance mechanic to maintain plastic bottle blowing machines as well as all other equipment (pumps, conveyors, lablelers and all electrical components).

Line setup/robotics technician

Rochester Products, Div - Rochester, NY - July 1968 to May 1985 Started as a parts assembler, took military leave in the Air Force for four years, returned to work and remained in the Airforce Reserves for four more years. I was then promoted to assembly line setup, then sent to robotics training at the GM technical training center in Detroit. Then worked installing and

maintaining various assembly robots throughout the plant. As part of a workforce reduction and the talk of a possible plant closing, I took an offered buyout.
