It provides a platform to showcase the Host Country’s planning and organizational skills as well as its creativity and cultural diversity.

General Assembly 06-12 October 2009- Liaison with Airlines staff, Airport Authority Personnel, Embassy/Ministry Protocol, Immigration, Customs and other concerned authorities at the airport for the comfortable reception, Facilitation and Departure of the dignitaries. Hockey World Cup 28 February -14 March 2010 –Along with the Chef de Mission, in February, I also participated in Hockey World Cup (FIH) being in charge of airport arrivals, guest facilitation to various hotels and then finally looking after Venue Protocol at Major Dhayan Chand Hockey Stadium. Hospitality– In the interim I was sent as attaché to Chairman Coordination Commission (COCOM) Mr. Austin Sealy during his visit to India.

Important dignitaries like Prince of Wales, Prince Charles and Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Edward, Vice Patron of the commonwealth games who came to India, to grace the occasion, I coordinated their pre arrival liaison with their security Team and hence ensured their safe movement to various Stadiums as a pre advance visit.
