Worked with congregational call committees, Synod Call Committee, and pastors. Received resumes and created tables in MS Word to compare all skills and abilities of prospective pastors with congregational expectations, also in tables created in MS Word. Eventually transferred tables to Paradox database. Coordinated building facility for 3 meeting rooms, prepared for all aspects of meetings taking place in the facility, including catering arrangements, table and chair setup, created and distributed agenda and all materials for meetings, distributing minutes following meetings.
Coordinated youth gatherings of more than 1500 high school students from 285 congregations in our synod and annual pastors’ retreat of almost 300 pastors. Responsibilities: Negotiated contracts for motels, Bible Camps, speakers, entertainment, and catering; created all materials including pamphlets, brochures, evaluations, and mailing lists.
