Career Goal – Utilize my reservoir engineering and financial expertise to deliver high quality

technical work. During my career to date, I’ve consistently delivered value adding projects while

developing waterflood, CO2/EOR and unconventional reservoirs.

Professional Experience

10/13 to 7/2016 Unconventional Resources and Project Appraisal for Hess Corporation, Houston, Texas

Subsurface Manager and Reservoir Engineering Advisor.

• Worked with multi-disciplinary team to complete subsurface studies for exploitation efforts on several large North Dakota Hess operated fields. These studies identified additional pay, secondary reservoirs and EOR opportunities of over 100 MMBOE in potential resources.

• Worked with multi-disciplinary team on detailed technical studies to appraise Paris Basin unconventional resource. Used decision analysis tools to show senior management that the project should not move to the next phase due to subsurface and commercial impairments. Divestment of Paris assets followed. Prevented commitment of over $200MM in additional funds.

• Completed studies for appraisal of Sichuan basin unconventional play and recommended project move to next phase of development given acceptable fiscal terms.

• Worked with reservoir engineers to create standard work methodology for reserves estimation and reporting for all Legacy North Dakota Hess fields that saved significant effort in future years.

• Worked with SMEs to develop Unconventional Appraisal Screening Tool used to evaluate newly captured plays and business opportunities. Tool utilized for key decisions by senior management.

10/11 to 10/13 Europe/Mid East/North Africa Project Developments for Hess Corporation, London, England

Subsurface Team Lead and Reservoir Engineering Advisor.

• Developed Eclipse dynamic model and decision analysis for initial Ghana discovery that showed this deepwater discovery would require additional resources to be commercial. Worked closely with Exploration on additional drilling that ultimately led to a material oil discovery and viable project. Drove capture of core and acquisition of 3D seismic to justify moving this project to appraisal.

• Drilled and cored two appraisal wells for deepwater development in the West of Shetlands. Worked with multi-disciplinary team to complete subsurface studies to show the potential of this resource so that it could realize its maximum value to Hess. Asset was divested in late 2013.

• Developed Field Development Plans for all key projects to communicate the value of the assets to the wider organization. Worked with partnership to deliver annual budgets.

• Key member of several special business development evaluation teams as a reservoir engineer.

1/10 to 10/11 Global Production Optimization for Hess Corporation, Houston, Texas

Production Optimization Advisor for Reservoir and Production Engineering.

• Developed and implemented a global system for capturing, prioritizing and executing opportunities. This was initially used only for subsurface opportunities but became an integral tool at Hess used to capture opportunities that supported the effort to capture up to 40% cost savings in other areas.

8/07 to 1/10 Permian Subsurface Studies for Hess Corporation, Houston, Texas

Subsurface Team Lead and Reservoir Engineering Advisor.

• Led subsurface aspects of major Phase 1 residual oil zone (ROZ) development project. 29 patterns were successfully deepened and flooded with CO2 resulting in arresting field decline.

• Led the Greenfield development of West Bravo Dome CO2 source reservoir development from 2007-2009. Increased CO2 production from zero to over 100MMscfd of CO2.

• Directed the updating of IPM, geologic and compositional reservoir simulation models.

• Responsible for reserves estimation and reporting for the Seminole San Andres Unit. Prepared technical justification for base reserves for the using dimensionless CO2 scaling method.

Scott Biagiotti, P.E. • 3019 Dahlgren Trail • Sugar Land, TX 77479

Related Skills Reservoir simulation skills in Eclipse and MORE. Experienced with PVT, PTA, RTA software and evaluations. Strong PEEP and petroLook skills with thorough knowledge of SEC/PRMS guidelines. Power user of Microsoft Office and Spotfire. Effective mentoring and presentation skills.

Professional Experience (continued)

10/06 to 8/07 Waterflood Reservoir Management for Occidental of Elk Hills, Bakersfield, California

Subsurface Team Lead and Reservoir Engineering Advisor.

• Worked with multi-disciplinary team to grow asset by planning and drilling up to 22 wells and performing up to 100 capital and expense workovers.

• Directed the multi-disciplinary team in the development of reservoir simulation models to improve the estimation of reserves in the five largest waterflood reservoirs where balances were uncertain.

• Provided technical insight to complete CO2 evaluation of existing waterfloods.

3/04 to 10/06 Wasson San Andres Reservoir Management for Occidental Permian Ltd., Houston, Texas

Reservoir Engineering Advisor.

• Utilized Eclipse 1/4 pattern compositional simulation to evaluate possible scenarios for further densification of the Eastern Denver Unit. Gained approval for a four pattern area to be converted to 1:1 line drive injection. Presented findings at 2005 OXY Engineering Conference.

• Reviewed CO2 pattern performance twice per year to improve unit performance. Enhanced pattern reviews with additional rigor such as performance bubble mapping and recent project reviews.

• Responsible for reserves estimation and reporting for the Denver Unit. Prepared technical justification for base reserves for the using dimensionless CO2 scaling method.

1/97 to 3/04 Terminal Reservoir Development for OXY/ARCO Long Beach Inc., Long Beach, California

Senior Engineer.

• Developed workover and recompletion plans for over 400 wells in an mature waterflood.

• Responsible for identifying and evaluating infill drilling projects, including reservoir modeling.

• Responsible for reserves reporting on several waterflooded reservoirs.

• Performed post project analysis and economics for both drilling and wellwork projects.

6/89 to 1/97 Reservoir Engineering and Facility Engineering for ARCO Alaska, Inc., Anchorage, Alaska

• Developed reservoir simulation to evaluate undeveloped upstructure reserves at Prudhoe Bay. Gained approval for development drilling. Simulation work was validated by drilling results.

• Provided engineering support and economic evaluation for over 100 wells.

• Created the MAXOIL Integrated Field Model, which realized significant savings from improved offtake optimization and maintenance scheduling.

• Co-author of low temperature separator blowdown model written in FORTRAN.

• Extensive field experience at Prudhoe Bay.

9/93 to 12/96 University of Alaska, Anchorage - Adjunct Professor of college math.
