IOCL SALAYA MATHURA PIPE LINE PUMPING STATION VADINAR is Mother station of SMPL IOCL Pipeline division and receives Crude oil through sea tankers from Mumbai High and Gulf Countries. This Pumping station is Having facility of Crude Storage and there is 13 Tanks of Crude oil tanks of 85000 Kls each and this pump station supplying crude Oil to Vadodara Refinery, Mathura Refinery and Panipat refinery. SMPL Viramgam has also facility of crude oil storage and 08 OIL Tanks with the capacity of 64000 KLs is situated in the pumping station. Approximate 65 employees are working in the pump station in various shifts. There is main security threat is for employees during transportation from colony to Pump station due to communal tension.
