I am electrical technician graduate at UNEXPO university –Venezuela. During my career I decided focus my attention in the telecommunication area, after to read more about this opportunity. I very interested in to apply. With my technologies skills and background in cellular systems I believe I could make a strong contribution.
During great part of my activities how telecommunications engineer in Lucent Technologies company, I had opportunity to perform several roles to enhance the networks of the two main cellular services providers (Movistar and Movilnet) within some groups of the organization to achieve the goals assigned, this assignment can be summarized in:
. O&M's group engineers; power cabling, data cabling, powering and power on equipment, supporting switch first official application (FOA) releases executing call test, performing test protocols, equipment's troubleshooting (ECPs, OMPs, 5ESSs, APs, tamdem switch), new services growth (E1,trunks, signaling links), Run scripting over ECP, system's backups (RTR shell), routing shift 24X7X365, period on call, log's review, calling the next level support when the throuble solution can not do locally. If the system needs after routine tests have been run perform diagnostigc procedures into 5ESS parts, such as; AM, CM and SMs, check out of alarm fail at the system.
. Implementation's group engineers: cards configuring, new services and RAN's services offered by pre sales, cell site, OMC RAN servers, EVDO and 1x servers upgrades, remote conexion (FTP, SSH, etc), new releases download, load, active and erase releases in application processor.
. Engineering, Performance and optimization's group engineers; review and analyze stadistics of system, rebalancing of load servers, doing recomendation to the customer and create the engineering necesary to solve the issue, etc.
Recently I had the opportunity to work in a project doing the installation backbone IP to Entel
(Peru), its were a short term contract but I had the opportunity to work with Data Cables, Optical Fiber cables, and Power Cables, pacth pannels, interconexions, and rack in since beginning until the commercial launch.
However all of the above was mainly oriented to circuit switched system, although some packet switching devices were administrated, it was restricted and little work. Which did not allow me to develop deeply the knowledge acquired in courses taken (IP, cisco knowledge, Juniper certified). Bearing in mind this and noting that is hiring for your work group is a good opportunity to participate in this project. Actually, I am seeking a job that permit me to deploy more my skills within telecommunications and to continue growth up in knowledge for the next generation telecommunication's equipment (5G, IoT, etc), and while taking additional courses of learning at work.

In this project I was part of installation group that execute the installation of new network (Cisco NGN 4G) to Nextel – Peru
(Actualy Entel), in the sites: San Borjas, Miraflores and Trujillo. I did the Growth of channels for handle increasing voice and data traffic over IP protocol (feature TRFO/RTO) for network CDMA of Movilnet.
I did the supervision of the removal of the racks over one of the CDMA central office in the location Valencia to Movistar. I did the Supervision of the installation of three servers (Sandvine) in Movistar (Los Palos Grandes-Caracas) for managing bandwidth internet connections of their subscribers. During this project I did the software actualization since Release 30 to Release 33 in the CDMA central office of

I did detailed engineering for the redistribution of base stations at all siwtch ́s of the CDMA mobile network to Movistar, as part of the retirement of the network in its first phase. I did project document for the implementation of new feature TrFO / RTO (handle voice calls via IP) in the CDMA network Movilnet.
I did detailed engineering for use the new fiber optic card to E1. I was part of the group installation of the ADSL (Anymedia) Network for TELMEX (Monterrey – Mexico). I was part of the control center network group for Movilnet during the first years of operation. I was part of implementation group of the Movilnet ́s CDMA network. I was part of the group Center for Monitoring the CDMA network to Movistar during the first years of creation.
