Work and Volunteer Experience:

American Retroworks Inc.: Vice President of Operations/EHS Manager August 2012-Present

● Implemented a state wide recycling plan in coordination with State Agencies and Solid Waste Districts. Led training efforts with recycling operators across Vermont. Coordinated meetings and gave presentations to large and small groups of solid waste district personnel. Performed compliance audits and inspections at recycling drop-off locations. Followed up with identified nonconformity's and managed reporting to state officials.

● Developed and implemented an integrated environmental health and safety management system

(EHSMS) conforming to the R2:2013, ISO:14001 and OHSAS:18001 standards. The system was implemented with zero nonconformity's found during the initial and subsequent annual certification audits.

● Maintained and implemented EHSMS and all regulatory compliance, including corrective and preventative actions, root cause analysis, accident investigation, and hazards/aspect identification. Conducted and lead monthly safety meetings and performed regular training of 30 Employees and a team of department managers.

● Supervised 30 employees and operations within 50,000 square foot refurbishing and recycling warehouse. Implemented a PPE and training program that reduced injuries by 62.5% from previous year. Served as liaison between the EHSMS and department supervisors.

● Coordinated purchase orders and cross-training of international clients in Pakistan, Tibet, Peru, Malaysia, Canada, Mexico and Ghana. Supervised all outgoing and international shipments while verifying compliance to applicable laws and regulations. Boys Town: Family Teacher May 2011-May 2012

● Maintained a home, schedule, budget and therapeutic environment for 6 teenage girls through structured social skills and relationship building, teaching opportunities.
