Objective

My objective is to start a new career using the skills that I have gained with my past experience, and continue my education along with a long-term position at an established company.

Experience

ProfitStars, A Jack Henry Co., Birmingham, AL April 2016 - Present

Technical Support Representative, Advanced

This position has been a great learning experience for me and a good challenge at times. Technical and software support for a very in depth software for financial institutions that provide Factoring services and Asset Based Loans. We were logged into a call rotation, taking calls as well as cases submitted online. This included but not limited to network issues, windows settings or registry issues, VM ware issues, and SQL database troubleshooting in a local or remote test environment to find resolution for our clients issues. If resolution could not be met and it was a software bug then we would recreate the issue and submit a test case to development for them to fix. We also assist in the periodic software upgrades and validation.

Fidelity National Information Services, Birmingham, AL July 2007 – May 2015

Implementation/Conversion Analyst, Senior

I had many responsibilities during my employment. One primary responsibility was heading up the deployment of a new amount recognition software used by financial institutions to read the amounts and accounts on checks, deposit slips and other internal documents. For each bank install, I had the role of Project Manager by preparing everything necessary to complete a successful installation such as working with the bank to gather the needed information, setting up conference calls to discuss unforeseen issues and training bank employees. I also handled any questions and trouble-shooting. I was also asked to head-up the deployment of another new product called “ChargeBack Manager” which handled everything entailed with returned checks. I worked with the installation and set-up of the product on the customer's system. I also provided the necessary training for the customer to use the product properly and worked with the development team on needed enhancements. This work required great knowledge of Oracle DB queries.

Brasfield Data Services, Birmingham, AL March 2003 - June 2005

System Operations Manager

The job duties at this new company were very extensive. My two main responsibilities were supervising all data operations for more than thirty-five financial institutions, and managing the duties of three individuals in the operations department. We were responsible for designing check sheets for balancing and daily functions requiring exact precision. I also performed system maintenance and designed new menu driven automated scripts. Our most important daily duties were assisting customers with trouble-shooting issues and developing ways to avoid these issues. These are only a few of the many responsibilities that I charged with as the System Operations Manager.

SBS Data Services /Intercept, Birmingham, AL September 2000 - January 2003

Computer System Operator

This was an entry level position at this company. I worked with customers in trouble-shooting issues that they encountered, and I also helped other departments in finding new ways to prevent these issues from happening again. We processed and balanced all of the ATM, ACH, and checking transactions for our customers.
