Seasoned Engineer in both (mechanical and electrical engineering) with 20+ years of successful engineering/management experience. My in-depth technical knowledge and the broad production floor experience in the electric rotary machines and electronics circuits, coupled with excellent educational credentials and professional accomplishments, have made me a subject matter expert and outstanding technology leader in electric motors, generators and drives. The markets were: HVAC, aerospace & defense, medical, automotive, industrial, oil and gas, mining, glass and paper industry. The motors powers and its embedded electronics I developed were from fractional to 5000 HP and the speeds from a few revolution per minutes to 200,000 rpm. A high level of expertise I have earned in FEA/FEM electromagnetics and mechanical design coupled with thermal and CFD calculation. ANSYS, Infolytica, J- MAG, SPEED, MAGSOFT, SolidWorks, Pro-E, Auto-CAD were the most common design software I used. I take lead on challenging assignments creating business opportunities where none exist. Position: Managing/Principal Engineer present

It is a start-up company specialized in scientific research, design and developments of electric machines and its electronics control; It does include: BLDC and induction motors, stepper motors, brush DC motors, generators, single and three phases transformers, relays and any others electro- mechanical or electromagnetic devices;

Do motors magnetic field calculations (FEA/FEM), do thermal analysis determining the hot spot temperature in the transformers and the electric motors; establish the potential insulation failure;

Design a fractional horsepower BLDC motor with a sensorless controller for HVAC industry.

Design electric systems, prepare electrical design drawings, create the Bill of Materials and develop the manufacturing and test procedures.

Position: Motor Development Manager 12/2014-12/2015

Run effective the R&D engineering department directly supervising 11 senior engineers.

Provided an efficacious design and technology of fabrication for high-scale electric motors with permanent magnets, fluid cooled, operating in deep oceans (9000ft below the sea level).

Successful developed new motors technology in terms of the design of the electric motors as: electromagnetics, electrical, thermal, and vibration analysis. It was done on schedule and on budget. A 2.3 and a 3.5 MW brushless DC motor, medium voltage (6 and 13.8 KV), pressurized at 15,000 psi for subsea oil and gas were involved.

Developed and managed a multi-year product line technology roadmap and strategy in a collaborative, multi-discipline, team environment;

Innovatively designed, fabricated and tested successful, in time and budget, a high performance 5,000 HP, three phase induction motor, with copper bars at 6 KV and 6,000 rpm, vertical mount, drip proof blower ventilated;

Launched with success two fabrication lines of brushless DC motors with embedded permanent magnets for automotive industry generating $24+ millions in revenue right from the first year;
