2015 Brewista Nut Milk Maker in-house design competition 2nd Place An innovator in the design of coffee brewing, Brewista challenged the students to design the next generation of nut milk extractors for coffee houses.

2012 Metropolitan State University of Denver Annual Public Seating Design Competition 1st Place The Renewable Bench MKI, made from cardboard and Baltic Birch plywood. Awarded a cash prize and the honor of being showcased in the Student Success Building for 2 years.

2009 Auraria Library Beyond the Stacks, juried exhibit and auction Awarded Best Imaginative (sold at silent auction) Flying Hysteria, based on an Asian Dragon kite design and inspired by a Venus Fly Trap.
