Programmed new Niigata 4 Axis FANUC controller based horizontal mills for machining jet engine compressor cases within the Siemens PLM Teamcenter and NX CADCAM environment and using Vericut for tool path verification. Trained other engineers for robotics programming techniques and methods.

I started off by modeling complex gas and steam turbine engine components including nozzles, turbine blades and combustor components that were then used for CNC programming for milling, turning, 5 Axis fast hole EDM and waterjet and workholding design. Then completed detailed process planning for all phases of production in accordance to NADCAP, ISO9000 and customer standards. Siemens PLM NX CAM postprocessor development for FANUC, Siemens and Dynapath controller based CNC machines using Siemens PLM Postbuilder and TCL/TK. Extensive QC support for GD&T interpretation and shop support to identify and eliminate bottlenecks. Worked side by side with GE Power engineers for fabrication of R&D nozzle assemblies.
