Freelance Graphic Designer, Birmingham, Sept 2016–present Designed personal print and branding material such as logos, business cards, stickers, clothing tags, letterheads and stationary for clients in Birmingham Trained self in HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, Adobe Dreamweaver and Adobe Muse Updated my online portfolio Graphic Designer, Walls Media LLC, Birmingham, May 2016–Sept 2016 Made design edits and client presentations for the main designer using Adobe Creative Suite Trained in WordPress and updated online content and pictures using WordPress and Photoshop Took product shots of Weezie B. Designs (a division of Walls Media) for social media sites like Instagram and Facebook Created professional, corporate print material such as name tags, brochures, fliers, posters, logos and business cards for Walls Media clients Cut invitations, banners and more Plansbook Director, NSAC Advertising Team, University of Alabama, Oct 2015–May 2016 Worked with a team of 12 advertising students to create a fully integrated holistic national advertising campaign for Snapple Tea Individually conducted primary and secondary research such as interviews, surveys and concept tests Problem solved with a small team of graphic designers to come up with concepts, executions and big ideas for our Snapple campaign Created the 27-page plans- book of our campaign, which won 1st place at the 2016 districts competition in Johnson City, Tennessee Designer, Capstone Agency, University of Alabama, Sept 2014–May 2016 Worked with a team of graphic designers at a student-run advertising and public relations agency known as Capstone Agency Attended weekly team meetings to discuss individual client projects, problems and solutions Created designs and print material such as posters, logos, infographics, web templates and more for real clients in Tuscaloosa, Alabama Was awarded “Capstone Agency’s Creative Services Directors Award” in 2015 for constantly being involved and helping other client teams with design work and ideas AWARDS + HONORS
