Leading a team of 10 people from Offshore to lead conversion of programs and data to RBS systems.
Interact with Onsite team on every day basis and receive the requirements for programs to be converted.
Review all the requirements and prepare detailed technical designs for each program.
Assign technical designs to the team members at offshore and follow up with team members on regular basis till development is completed.
Create test plans and test cases for all the requirements and publish to the onsite team.
Change and test COBOL programs as per requirements received from onsite.
Review and Conduct peer testing of all the programs.
Prepare status reports every day for the completed work for review by senior leadership teams

Played instrumental role in resolving many helpdesk cases across all Mainframe applications f (Membership, Claim Adjudication and EMS etc.). Received a Bravo award from IBM for the reduction of helpdesk cases to a minimal number.
Was involved in changing CMS (Centre for Medicare and Medicaid services) control cards and update all the Membership application programs for the same throughout the duration of the project.
Was responsible for adding Retro 4X transmission functionality to existing daily CMS transmission.
Worked as part of help desk case resolution team from October 2006 to October 2007. Helpdesk cases are emergency fixes requested by users when information needs to be corrected in production databases and files.
Responsible for changing Effective dated logic, transmission history file logic, daily transmission to validate against election types, daily transmission to prevent duplication of contracts in CMS extract process.
Was part of Medicare Part-D changes project from May 2005 to February 2006. The purpose of the project was to provide the subscribers the Medicare Advantage Pharmacy benefit and Pharmacy only benefits.
Was responsible for changing the CMS extract, HCR Cost Extract, HCR risk extract, HCR address extract, billing and reporting processes, setting up new troop extract, institutional extract, Washington cash management extract. Received a Bravo award from IBM for the contribution towards success of this project.
Was responsible for multiple changes to the Membership application for Alternate-ID and PEBB Map projects from initiation till May 2005 and received a Bravo award from IBM for the same.
Throughout the entire duration of the project, I have always provided production support for all Mainframe related applications and created multiple adhoc reports using Easytrieve.
