To: Hiring Manager

My name is Angeline Gallant and I am interested in a position as a family nurse practitioner. I am currently employed as a nurse practitioner in Pre-Admission Testing department at Henrico Doctors’ Hospital in Richmond, Virginia but I will be relocating to my hometown of Kalispell. I have already received licensure as a nurse practitioner in Montana in preparation for the relocation.

I graduated from Old Dominion University in May 2015 with over 600 hours of clinical experience which involved family care, pediatrics, and women’s health. With supervision, I was given the opportunity to develop clinical skills in assessment, diagnostics, non-pharmacologic /pharmacologic treatments, and creation of care plans. I also spent ten years as a registered nurse in the emergency department that gave me exposure to many disease processes. I learned different disease presentations, assessments, techniques of treatments, and diagnoses which contributed to my knowledge as a family nurse practitioner.

My experience as a nurse practitioner has involved treating pre-operative patients, performing history and physicals, reviewing and ordering and reviewing laboratory results and studies, and working closely with anesthesiology to ensure patients meet requirements for sedation. I also have been employed as a provider at The Little Clinic at Kroger’s grocery store. The clinic provided healthcare services that included sports and school physicals, vaccinations for all age groups, and diagnosis and treatment of minor illnesses.

I am seeking this position to further develop my skills and knowledge as a provider. Please see attached CV and I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you,

Angeline Gallant
