Senior Vice President; Special Projects (2008-2014)

One of the founders of Globecomm Systems Inc., a satellite system company.

Chosen as the Chief technical engineer on a $25m program for Hughes Network Systems, for the Jupiter 1 satellite system, and numerous antenna product design projects.

Designed new man portable satellite communications systems for the military.

Managed a team of Engineers to complete special projects and research and development.

Worked closely with contract department to provide technical and contractual input thus increasing contract value and minimizing disputes.

Experienced with all aspects of electronics manufacturing, test and quality control (including ISO and Mil-Stds)

Contract Special projects (2002- 2008)

Wrote proposals to gain additional business, internationally and with the US Government and other International governments.

Designed telecommunications systems and products for government clients.

Vice president; Product Development and Government Systems (1994-2002)

Responsible for the design and construction management of the 122,000 sq. ft building, civil work preparation, architect drawing approval, electrical requirements definition, back-up power plant, and the company World Teleport layout and design.

Developed specialized systems for government clients such as the first satellite system to be “air droppable”.

Designer of 2.4m tri-band HMMV vehicle mounted military satcom terminal, which was fully self-contained.

Responsible for initial design of the Globecomm World Teleport in Hauppauge, NY.

Designed numerous systems for use in fixed and transportable communications including both stationary and auto-tracking antennas, designs for outdoor and ruggedized electronics, with emphasis on special environmental designs.

A company specializing in digital infrared imaging and signal processing, focused on early breast cancer detection, and in patented guidewire technology for angioplasty applications.

Developed new technology for Breast Cancer detection which resulted in a study that appeared peer reviewed publication; American Journal of Surgery and FDA approval.
