Roles & Responsibilities

HSE

-Understand and apply BP Egypt, Gas HSE Policies, Procedures and best practices to its daily activities, and ensure these are applied by contractors and other personnel during operations

-Take an active role to ensure the execution of BP Golden Rules of Safety and encourage good working practices on site, providing coaching or performing STOP, ASA or SO when appropriate

-Promote and ensure compliance with ISG HSE policies within post holders influence and responsibility

-When feasible, promote safety briefings and toolbox talks, advising latest HSE initiatives & observations

Coordinate the Supply of Goods and Services

-Liaise on a daily basis with Well Site Leaders at the RIG, DMC (Cairo), Inventory Control Supervisor or Base Manager in onshore base or Service Companies / Contractors etc., to define requirements and support required.

-Make best effort to ensure goods and / services (or personnel) are supplied on timely and cost effective manner to the Rig.

-Raise Call Off Orders as required (and as may be deemed authorized to do) to secure supply of goods or services (including rentals)

-Ensure Materials Movement records are updated daily, materials/ services from supplier companies are adequately supported and auditable.

-Keep up-to-date detailed information about drilling operations requirements of goods or services

Expediting

-Track and expedite, materials / services called off from service companies / suppliers, and keep Well Site Leaders informed, as may be required.

-Ensure proper tracking of Call off Orders / Materials requirements placed is carried out.

-Maintain permanent interaction with DMC / Onshore Base Team members to coordinate Materials / Personnel movements to and from rig site.

-Take coaching and instructions from DMC / Well Site Leaders, as required.

Materials Management

-Prepare ongoing reports to record rig site stock of company owned / rental goods or services.

-Train and coach other staff, as required, in matters related to drilling materials coordination functional tasks and objectives.

-Plan and conduct end-of-well materials / equipment reconciliations.

-Prepare and submit detailed end-of-well reconciliation reports, as required

Logistics Management

-Co-ordinate Supply boat requirements & movements with the Onshore Base Manager and Well Site Leaders.

-Co-ordinate Helicopter, boat requirements & movements with the Onshore Base Manager and Well Site Leaders.

Other
