Managing General Partner 2008 - 2016

Startup Company specializing in destuffing of containers into basic OTR trailers, thus reducing port demurrage penalties on overseas containers. Delivery times to customers increased by 80% in the first year. This business outperformed original business plans & projections and was profitable within 9 months. There was also included a small suffrage warehouse for Mexican Customs. This business grew from start up to 320 customers in my time, by filling a service that wasn’t being fulfilled, while working with several different Mexican government departments and officials, completing obligations and negociationing future work.

INXS Logistics, Vancouver, B.C – Edmonton, AB 2005 - 2008

Startup that worked with customers, brokers, steamship lines & shippers to provide a seamless delivery system that encompassed a worldwide pickup & delivery organization, which provided unsurpassed service to all customers. This startup grew to a staggering gross net worth of $ 500,000 in just 6 months. From this genesis to it’s eventually sale, the container movement increased to 600+ per month. Several of these were government contracts that had incredibly complex contracts with very tight RDD’s

Prairie Express 2000 - 2005

Northern Regional Manager

This was a trucking company that specialized in dealing with the oilfield, mostly in heavy haul loads that included pipe loads to heavy equipment to all parts of northern Alberta and B.C. & Sask. I was responsible for budgets, profit & loss and increased revenue in this division by 400% in 18 months. With a new strategic operational & development plan, this region became profitable in all branches within 14 months

Working with the operational team, calculate and plan the loading of out going vessels to continue the voyage route in a safe and efficient manner. My career at Maersk started with extensive training in Copenhagen and continued in the operations dept., eventually being promoted to operations manager in Tacoma, responsible for all operational movement at the Port of Tacoma.
