As a PLM developer and lead for Teamcenter/Creo, provide development, deployment, training and support for various

Divisions across Caterpillar. Main duties include requirements gathering from customers, development work in

Java/J2EE, C++, Javascript, SOAP, peer code reviews, NUnit development & testing, user acceptance testing,

development of training material and deployment. As a PLM development lead gained experience with customization for

Teamcenter plugins, custom workflow handlers, BMIDE, ITK/SOAP, scripting etc. Gained experience in various modules

within Teamcenter such as change management, PALs(Process Assignment List), GPGR, organization of groups &

roles, Teamcenter data security, engineering BOM(Bill of Material), compatibility management, TcRA reporting, data

Team leader & developer for Virtual Process Planning (VPP) tool for machining and fabrication. Led 4 major projects in

conversion to Teamcenter VPP SAP Mach 1. Gathered voice of the customer for legacy CAPP to VPPM migration

Coupling Selection applications to Caterpillar business units and suppliers worldwide. Worked closely with subject

matter experts (SMEs) for bolted joints to understand customer needs. Enhanced the user interface of the application to

enhance usage of the application. As a six-sigma green belt, led the development of bolted joint thermal analysis project.

This project had an impact on the Tier IV initiative.

As a developer and lead for Hose & Coupling application, developed a .Net (C#) web-based application to allow

engineers search for compatible hose & coupling parts in the pre-design phase.

Developer - Fluid Lines Application

As a developer, designed the main interface and back-end database for the hose assembly should-cost project. Projected

annual savings from this project were $6.25 Million (after-tax). This project was later selected for Chairman's

AQI award. Fluid Lines application lacked the documentation of it's processes. Reversed engineered the application

code to understand the processes and developed process flow diagrams using Microsoft Visio.

Worked as a developer migrating Fluid Lines code to new upgraded Creo version, enhanced user interface and retired

obsolete features. Gained extensive experience in C and Creo vendor API (API).

Intern (Spring & Summer) 01/2004 to 08/2004
