Technical Intern, EDUVANCE PVT. LTD., Mumbai August 2014-February 2015
Analysed the functionality of development boards such as ARM’s FRDM KL25Z, NXP’s LPC11U24 and LPC1768 and Cypress Semiconductor’s PSoC 4 and PSoC 3 boards and developed multiple projects on the same.
Worked on providing remote access of data collected by a system by exploring Internet of Things, developing web pages and by using wireless communication interfaces such as Bluetooth, Zigbee and RF Transceivers (CC2500). INTERNSHIP PROJECTS
Online Monitoring and Tweeting of Temperature (IoT) January 2015
Live temperature was continuously accessed online on a channel created through the ThingSpeak platform. A graph of Temperature v/s Time was plotted on the channel. Upon exceeding a threshold value, a tweet was sent to notify the user using the ThingTweet App.
Audio Controlled Home Automation using Bluetooth December 2014
Developed an Android application that consisted of buttons and an audio input that could be used to control the home appliances through wireless Bluetooth technology.
Gesture Controlled Robot June 2014
Developed a bot which moves in accordance to the movement of the hand using the accelerometer on FRDM KL25Z board. Accelerometer data was transmitted through RF Transceivers CC2500 to bot at a distance from the transmitter. ENGINEERING PROJECTS AT UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO BOULDER Data Acquisition System Fall 2015
Data from the Ultrasonic, Humidity & Temperature sensors was fetched & written to a SD Card through commands communicated to the 8051 micro-controller via a Bluetooth module. The firmware for LCD, I2C for the sensor’s interface, SPI & FAT File System for the SD Card was written in C. Video & Voice Over IP Spring 2016
Transmitted video and audio packets simultaneously in real-time using UDP as the Internet protocol for the transfer by the TI Sitara AM3358 MPU by using the BeagleBone Black.
Used V4L, ALSA and OpenCV libraries for video processing, audio processing and image processing respectively. Health Tracker Spring 2016
Developed a web application to maintain a database of Patient’s and Doctor’s and track various health parameters. Applied Object Oriented concepts using Java and Software development cycle (SDLC) to develop the application using Spring and Hibernate. Implemented Model-View-Controller(MVC) framework and Design Patterns. Parallel Implementation of AI for 5x5 Tic-Tac-Toe Spring 2016
Implemented the Mini-Max Algorithm in C++ to determine the best move for the computer. Used OpenMP to for parallel implementation of the search algorithm through all possible game trees. Network Systems Fall 2016
Designed simple HTTP Server on Linux platform handling multiple clients. Implemented connection Keep-Alive feature using combination of TCP and HTTP to send and display webpages.
Developed a Client-Server Application in C that communicated through UDP sockets and implemented the GET and PUT functionality. Reliable UDP transfer mechanism was implemented using Stop and Wait protocol.
