I have finished my project named as “A STUDY ON EMPLOYEE ATTITUDE TOWARDS THE WORKING ENVIRONMENT”AT DANDAYUDAPANI Spinning mill p(ltd) Period of 2016(march-may). It was incorporated on 1-April 2007. It manufactures combed yarn, for weaving &knitting.

The Project work entitled “A Study on employee attitude towards the working environment” with special reference to the DANDAYUDAPANI Spinning Mill p (ltd) of Coimbatore. That is the various factors concerned towards the attitude of the employee. The analysis has been made mainly based on the primary data that is by the employee’s opinion survey method. The researcher has taken a sample size of 110 and has used the stratified random sampling method to select the sample from the total population. The study gives the opinion of employees about all the H.R. Functions DANDAYUDAPANI Mill like Welfare facilities, employment conditions, wages and incentives interpersonal relationship, working conditions, management practices, etc.

Objective: 1. To study the current working environment in an organization.

2. To identify the factors that affecting the working environment.

3. To identify the expectation of employee towards working environment. Scope: 1. helps to make employees the best in safety and working environment Friendly measures activity which make the employee to resort a peaceful and joyful life. Sample size: The population selected for the study is 110 employees

The statistical tools that are used in this study are:

1. Simple percentage average, 2. Chi-square, 3. Weighted average.

Positive results: 60 percentage peoples tell about satisfied in the work and management

Negative results: 50 percentage peoples tell about the dissatisfied in management. Reason for

1.dissatisfied about the freedom and authority are given to carry out the job task,

2.The company policy and administration motivate the employee,

3.The supervisors appreciate when we fulfill the work and dissatisfied in management behavior. It’s an employee statement.

Conclusion: By this study it is clear that various factors which influences attitude and productivity of the employee each as, welfare facilities, salary status, bonus, working condition and recognition of work are getting much importance

COMPANY: ESS EMM Spinning mill P (ltd) at JALLIPATTI.

I have visited in ESS EMM spinning mill p (ltd) in 2015(April-June) two months trained in mill. I know about in the spinning industry in India. It holds significant in India as it provides one of the most fundamental necessities of the peoples.

About the management: ESS EMM Mills Limited, One of the first Mills to be established in JALLIPATTI. SRI.D. KRISHNAMOORTHY is also the managing director of ESS EMM mill (p) ltd. In Year Started 28 November 2000.

Objectives: 1. To increase the productivity is our main duty.

2. To working each and every employee performance is very important for the industry.

Scope: Manufacture and sales of cotton and blended yarn. And

1. Raw material purchase: In cotton purchase can be made in use of communication. Day to day market rate of the cotton should be publishing in government website. The co-operative mills are viewed the website and applied for purchase of cotton. Next I go to

2. Finance Department: In the department these are accounts, shareholders of the mills, sales tax, income tax, accounting entries, cash payments, purchase of raw materials in this department five workers are maintain accounts. And I gathering

3. Quality Control Department: Quality control is the department of checking the quality of the product in each and every process. In the department there are three employees are working. One person is manager next person is for checking Quality and another assistant quality checkers. Finished after I will go to

4. Production Department: In the production department the raw main process of the mill is cotton to in yarn. Production Department Activities: 1.mixing, 2.blow room,3.carding,4.silverlap,5.Ribbonlap,6.comber,7.drawing,8.simplex,9.spinning, 10.doubling,11.cone winding,12.packing. And last I will see,

5. Marketing and sales: Regular process to customers. Rate will be fixed on the month opening meeting. Daily stock on the preference of customer the transaction will be processed. Transport will be arranged by the seller. This process is carried over by the accounting department.

CONCLUSION: This training helped me to understand the activities and the actual operations of the transformations of cotton into yarn.
