Medical Technologist - Generalist
Perform phlebotomy and test procedures assigned to Clinical Microscopy, Special Chemistry, Chemistry, Bloodbank and Hematology sections of the hospital laboratory, ensuring accuracy and clarity of test reports. Record all results and make monthly statistics of the tests done. Keep an organized and efficient workflow, as well as ensuring cleanliness and orderliness Operate machines and equipments used in the Hematology, Immunology and Serology, Blood bank and Clinical Chemistry sections of the laboratory with calibration, daily maintenance and quality control, and basic troubleshooting.
Regularly operates apheresis machine (plateletpheresis) Author, maintain and follow an up-to-date Policy and Procedure Manual Assist in the requisition of supplies, as well as following the efficient and economical utilization, with daily inventory and monitoring of reagents in relation to its demands and expiry date. Follow proper endorsement procedures at the beginning and at the end of every shift. Currently training in Special Chemistry and Chemistry Department Part-time Clinical Instructor
