Assist terminal vice president in all operational tasks within the terminal. Assist in properly planning and coordinating stevedoring and yard operations in order to maximize yard efficiency.

Arranges Vessel, Port and Cargo operations in accordance with local rules/regulations and safety/security procedures.

Prepare, coordinate and supervise transshipment activities.

Provides Terminal Departure Report to vessel planners after vessel sailing.

Initial point of contact for claims, notifying the proper parties of damaged equipment/cargo and arranging for surveys to be conducted.

Solve terminal booking problems, update systems and assist customers and drivers with issues.

Highlights:

Arranged for garbage, sludge or bilge water removal if requested by the Master prior to the arrival of the vessel to the port.

Arranged for portable water, bunker oil as per vessel’s requirement.

Arranged for any hospitalization, medical consultations and ambulance transportation for any passenger or crew as per Master request.
