Organize, control workload to ensure efficient progression of work and maintenance of quality procedures to ensure required standards are achieved.

Lead and manage Piping design team for large scale Oil and Gas project involved Grass root, Upgrade, Re-Bump, Plant Modification, Scale down, Rehabilitation, Expansion, and Re-Engineering.

Manage the discipline resources team of engineers, designers, material engineers, stress engineers, pipe support engineers, MTO specialists and provide direction and guidance, CTR definition to ensure project delivery on time to budget utilizing CADD, PDS/PDMS design tools.

Participate in discussions regarding estimates, resources, man power allocation and survey time required to enable a Plan, Basis of Design and Scope of Work to be produced.

Identify the Piping content of a Scope of Work and plan the execution of the work required to complete that scope.

Assist in the layout of piping inline instruments and mechanical equipment and liaise with Piping Stress Engineers. If necessary, join offshore survey party to verify layouts.

Assist in the technical bid evaluation of quotes for piping components supports and valves.

Vendor liaison and vendor document review cycle.

Audit and manages to ensure cost-effective solutions and application of value added engineering and ensure the designs comply with relevant Codes, Standards, Regulations, Quality system and Procedures.

Liaise across the organization with members of other disciplines and departments client and vendors.

Develop process plant layout for Onshore overall facility and Offshore Platforms, transposition layout, piping layout, equipment arrangement drawing, vessel orientation etc.

Establish list of discipline deliverables, control, monitor, and progress these deliverables to an agreed schedule.

Technical authority for the Piping discipline to ensure design integrity, economic, Quality, Health, Safety, Constructability, operation etc. both onshore and offshore.

Administer and implement company, and where applicable, client / project policies and procedures

Provide technical assistance to business development strategies and activities

Identify scope and schedule changes accordance with the Change Control Process.

Supervision of discipline personnel and allocation of work.

Acquires and understand project goals from ITB for turnkey EPCC contract.

Provide engineering man-hour estimates, cost estimates, technical and commercial and discipline contract deliverables, identifies deviations/exception in job scope, magnitude of changes and initiates deviation notices and clarification.

Communicating the overall purposes of the project to piping engineering team and provide methodologies / design criteria comprehensive of all necessary data, general and specific design guidelines and all related piping deliverables.

Develop overall facility layout, plot plan, Monitor and control Project progress to met deadlines mitigate risks within the agreed budget by timely provision of competent engineering resources, progress reporting including closeout report.

Input to Change orders in respective of engineering assessment.

Participate in project reviews, plot plan reviews, Hazop / Hazid / SIL reviews, constructability reviews and Design/model review meetings.

Manage, select, recruit and assign discipline resources manpower schedule and related.

Contributes towards, maintaining and implement both company and client HSE Management System objectives with the applicable company procedures for the Engineering Department and the Piping Discipline.

Provide training and development, team building for engineers and designers as well as appraisal of discipline staff.

Identification of training needs for personnel.

Validation of timesheets for piping discipline personnel.
