There were a number of initiatives as part of the overall YR2K team to establish Clean Management procedures as part of the controlling mechanism to ensure integrity of software was maintained. This also involved liaising with 3rd party suppliers for verification of date validation routines etc.

Role: CIMS - Implementation Project Manager

Bahrain, Malaysia & Singapore.

Overview: During this eighteen-month period the role was a Senior Project manager for three major CIMS implementations. In Bahrain this was a two-stage process whereby, firstly upgraded the ESS system to CIMS and secondly moved the system from Bahrain to Bournemouth. This involved a period of time-spent in country with the project team.

Overview: There followed a medium sized team, around 10+ people, which migrated, the existing Midas system in Malaysia onto the CIMS system, based in Kuala Lumpur. Again the team were based in Malaysia for around 3 months but there was also an amount of development work carried out in Bournemouth prior to the implementation. There was a combination of Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysian and UK based personnel put together for this project, which became the core team for the Singapore implementation which followed this. This included Money Market, DDA, and GL, Payment systems, Loans, FX, Settlements, reconciliations and SWIFT related products. As part of GL migration, drilldown into Sub-Ledgers to reconcile Balances.
