Work with customers, management and peers concerning logistics data and logistics issues pertaining to data in the Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS), Army Master Data File (AMDF) and the National Stock Number Master Data Record (NSNMDR). Proficient in performing database cleansing to determine the best and most efficient effort for streamlining the supply process. This process enables me to load data into the Logistics Modernization (LMP) for a more efficient database. Also generate, monitor provisioning related programs to include the Provisioning Master Record (PMR) to ensure that proper information is loaded and corrected as needed to better assist our soldiers \within all logistical actions and accomplish these with proper timeframe to support the life cycle of the system/equipment. I work Design Change Notices (DCN’s) as required. Work directly with contractor in developing a Provisioning Parts List. (PPL). Submit Supply Support Request (SSR’s) and updates/changes to the Provisioning On Line Systems
(POLS) and PowerLog as needed. Possesses ability to ensure compliance with current Department of Army and Department of Defense logistics policies and procedures as it relates to provisioning aircraft parts, supply/demand, acquisition requirements and maintenance related issues. Works with Bills of Material (BOM) for production planning. Checks part numbers for accuracy. Always working to maintain optimal solutions for Supply Chain Management within the supply chain system.
Qualification Summary Cont:
Provide guidance to functional specialists within provisioning to include maintenance documentation and standardization of requirements and procedures. Have experience in planning, executing and presenting budget analysis for logistics as well as worked on depot workload forecasting for long term goals set forth by the depots, conducting research and analyzing complex issues and develop practical solutions to resolve program problems/future conflicts results for approved weapon systems. Several years of work with the legacy system CCSS and frequently called upon to answer logical processes as needed by my office. Work closely with our Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) with the RPSTL in changing data elements as required to ensure NSN’s are correct within the RPSTL and the part number and cage numbers are accurate, also checking figure and item number. Coordinate logistical actions with Weapon System Teams, while inputting Provisioning Bill of Material (PBOM). Responsible for ensuring all items of Supply are accurately cataloged and introduced within AMCOM and recorded as the manager, or added as a user.
Worked inventory management on a daily basis reviewing supply control studies and requirements determination. Released requisitions to the field and determined if backorders were valid and released assets in a timely manner. Input depot repair programs for repairable items within depot guidelines. Planned/determined current and future supply requirements both quantitative and monetary for assigned major and secondary items to meet worldwide customer needs. Was also responsible for the handling of fluctuating procurement lead times as well as supply control studies, to include cutbacks, buys and contingency. Monitored policy changes as well as preparing comprehensive management strategies designed to assured the Integrated Materiel Management Center (IMMC) and Department of the Army’s goals maintained 90% or higher are met. Planned and determined the distribution of and positioning of material among depot stock points as well as its supply activities. Procured and controlled the flow of items into and throughout the weapons system life cycle. Participated, developed and revised budget estimates as needed. Reviewed disposal action and repair/rebuild requirements on depot level repair items as necessary. Tracked supply requisitions and trends to ensure on time delivery and if problems existed, they were resolved. Always verified the correct part and cage numbers of consumable items, to include major items. Made sure stock position of assets was on readiness status at specific depots for delivery to the soldiers in the field for combat. Always resolved supply part issues and made sure assets was available for issue with minimal downtime for requisitioning avoiding obsolescence. An expert on DOD supply requisitioning as well as repairable items for issue. Have worked with Contract Logistics Support/Spare Parts (CLS) within DOD in many Project offices. Made sure assets were in a pre-positioned stock supply position ready for movement in a timely and accurate manner from depot to field with minimal downtime for US and overseas delivery.
Ensured that repair budget requirements for current out years are accurate and defendable to higher headquarters. Also worked within the requirements of AR- 710-1 Centralized Inventory Management of the Army Supply System/750-1 Army Materiel Maintenance Policy, 725-50 requisition, receipt and issue system and AMCOM policies and procedures. 1996-Aug 2005- Acquired and distributed $50 million dollars of system spares and repair parts in support of MTHEL, Stinger and Avenger. Attended provisioning conferences as needed/required as well as provided provisioning/repair parts lists. Developed logistical requirements for inclusion in system ILSP as well as worked CCSS, RPSTL as well as PMR as needed and assigned PCCN’s when a new item came into the Federal Logistic System. Developed and defended internal operating budget logistics requirements for supply and maintenance system as well as knowledge of all Logistics functions on these systems to include supply, maintenance, training, manpower, budget, transportation and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL). Served as the ILS, manprint authority for all supply, maintenance actions on the Avenger and Patriot systems. Conducted Stinger and Avenger program planning, coordination, implementation and management of programs to insure life cycle logistics supportability IAW ILS practices, procedures, regulations, statutory requirements to insure logistic supportability of fielded system has been accomplished. I managed long leadtime items and identified any risk or initiated actions in order to get repair parts on contract as soon as possible for our soldiers in the shortest amount of time checking vendor performances and determining the best resolution for the best outcome at the best cost.
Also worked in the PATRIOT Middle East Management Branch, Security Assistance Management Directorate assisting with special projects related to Israel PATRIOT and the Kuwait PATRIOT Programs. I assisted higher level graded employees in developing follow-on cases for PATRIOT programs for Israel. I worked case management for assigned missile systems as well as worked and took direct action to assure fulfillment of obligation to the foreign customer, making necessary adjustments, modifications and revisions to assigned FMS programs/cases, working from the initial planning stage through case implementation.
