Responsible for the management of the radiation safety personnel and the radiation safety program for six radioactive material licenses, including a comprehensive NRC broad scope Type A materials license, a TRIGA research reactor, two 14-MeV linear accelerators, a 67,000-curie gamma irradiator, State accelerator produced /NORM license, and a 67,000 cubic yard thorium waste storage and disposal project. Oversight responsibilities for over 1000 research radioactive material users and 650 sealed sources. Managed the radiation safety program including isotope tracking, personnel training, dosimetery, bioassay, waste management, incineration of C-14/H-3, auditing, equipment calibration, contamination and external radiation controls.

Coordinated the radiation safety program activities for Dow Chemical in Midland Michigan. Responsible for coordinating activities of the radiation safety support staff and reporting to the RSO and RSC. Served as health physics liaison and consultant for other divisions of Dow and Dow Subsidiaries. Evaluated the feasibility of challenging R&D studies and new chemical processes involving radioactive material.
