Copywriter/Graphic designer for the company. Wrote web content, email advertising campaign’s, newsletters and such. I still do per diem work, part time.

AmeriPlan Health Care Corp., Port St. Lucie, FL, 2009-2014

National Sales Director - Provided affordable hospital, medical, dental, vision and chiropractic health care. I also recruited and trained over 200 independent business owners nationwide.

Chlorinators Inc. Stuart, FL, 2005-2009

Manufactures Representative - 7 states – (Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, North Dakota, South Dakota, Colorado, Nebraska and Kansas.) As the Sales engineer/ Manager I would spend one week a month in my territory. So I traveled quite a bit. I was responsible for managing, planning and executing growth strategies for the accounts within my designated territory. I excelled in creating new dealer business and maintained great relationships with existing dealers.

Provident Tax Group Inc., Palm Beach, FL 1999-2005

Vice President - I developed the products and strategies to launch a tax reduction system that was marketed and distributed throughout the United States via Call Centers, Internet and TV infomercials. Product development included writing and producing all the marketing materials including audio/video CD’s/DVD’s, websites, forms, work books and brochures. Sold the company for 1.5 million.

Fidelity Mortgage Inc., West Palm Beach, FL 1994-1999 .

National Marketing Director - I set up all the Call Centers, and the associated marketing programs for each location. My responsibilities included training, monitoring and evaluating Regional Managers who were accountable for over 600 employees. I developed and implemented the business strategies and marketing programs to successfully position Fidelity Mortgage as one of the “Fastest Growing Companies in America”

(FORTUNE Magazine. June 1995).

Feed Our People Inc., Mobile, AL, 1991-1994

Vice President - I supervised a Statewide Fundraising Organization that distributed food to the less fortunate. Funds were raised through our Call Center from local businesses and residents contributions. The Call Center consisted of 40 employees. I was responsible for all hiring, training, marketing and management. I was also was in charge of the networking and distribution of all food destinations. Raised cose to $1 million in 3 years.

WPSL Radio, Port St., Lucie, FL 1986-1990

General Sales Manager – I was accountable for all station revenue. Responsibilities included developing all radio station promotions and events as well as hiring, training and monitoring the sales staff and directors. I achieved consistent increases in sales for the radio station for 4 consecutive years. I also wrote copy and voiced commercials and was the “Color Man” for the WPSL New York Mets Baseball radio broadcasts at the Stadium. I also filled in for the Sports Director as the “Play by Play” announcer on occasion.

EDUCATION:

Attended Monmouth University, West Long Branch, NJ, for 3 years. No degree.

EXPERIENCED WRITER:

I enjoy writing comedy. (go to scottymags.com for some unusual humor). I also am a Copy writer for several companies part time.

Some of my writings have been copyrighted and some published.

I was also the Writer and Editor of WAVE-LENGTH, an entertainment magazine in South Florida with a distribution of 100,000 per year.

I’ve done some “stand-up” comedy shows locally and nationally.

I’ve written, produced and voiced, sales training tapes in professional recording studios (Both audio and video), for FIDELITY MORTGAGE INC, PRUDENTIAL NATIONAL LEASING INC, CREDITLINK INC. and PROVIDENT TAX GROUP INC.

PERSONAL:

Health is Good.

Played tennis on my college team.

I organized yearly fundraisers for the American Cancer Society. (Martin and St. Lucie counties)

I am a member of the Rotary Club, the Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers and was the Special Events Coordinator for the Port St. Lucie Chamber of Commerce.

Last but not least I love animals.
