Acquired detailed knowledge on the working mechanism of diesel engines including gears, clutches, bearings etc.
Examined engines to determine the extent of damage or malfunctions; repaired and restored V-4 and V-6 engines.
RELATED PROJECTS
DEVELOPMENT AND VALIDATION OF A TWO LINK PLANAR ARM FOR NONPREHENSILE MANIPULATION - MASTER’S THESIS
Designed, analyzed and fabricated a two-link planar arm using CAD tools including Solidworks and Ansys.
Configured and integrated microcontroller (PC/104), vision system, DC motors, amplifiers and other electronic & mechanical components.
Implemented PD control and validated the developed system by performing several experiments and comparing the results with simulation. DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF PLASTIC BOTTLES USING INJECTION MOULDING
Created product design and multiple cavity mould design of a plastic bottle to be manufactured using injection molding.
Fabricated the mould, prepared the moulding material, injected material in the mould and ejected the moulded products; performed finishing operations involving machining to get the final plastic bottles. STRESS ANALYSIS AND OPTIMIZATION OF A CRANKSHAFT
Used the existing blue prints to model a single cylinder CI engine crankshaft using CATIA V5 and investigated for fatigue failure using ANYS Mechanical APDL to optimize the cost and weight of the crankshaft.
