Summary: I have more than ** years experience in wood finishing. I started at the bottom and worked my way up. I take great pride in what I do. I make sure that all products are to the highest standard.

Experience:

October 2015 through present. Sledgecraft INC. Murfreesboro, Tn.

I am a production supervisor in charge of the custom shop, packing and UV line. We do various products in custom from case goods to moldings. I do all color matching for all jobs, inventory control and usage reports. I do the training of employees on different techniques of new finishes. I help to insure we are getting the quality product that our customers require.

I was a spray operator, we would spray various types of stains and topcoats on caskets as they came down a moving conveyor.

Finishing Manager, I was in charge of everything from the loading dock to the pack line, including all samples, touchup and color matching. Every week I did waste inspections and do any ordering of material that needed to be done.

Technical Finishing Manager: My responsibilities were over see the loading of kitchens in their proper sequences, including making sure that all procedures were followed so that we met quality standards for all products on three different finish departments, touch-up, mainline and offline. Finishing Manager: Responsible for the product form the loading line to the packing line, the offline, where we ran interior parts, and the drawer line where we clear coated drawer boxes. Assured that all products were finished properly, and maintained a very high standard of quality, kept all safety records for my department, including spray equipment log books, and spray booth equipment log books and various others meeting Meeshap codes. Held daily department meetings discussing quality issues, work issues and company related issues. There were 74 people in my department. I was out of work due to company shut down.

Finishing Room Group Leader

I started as a hand sander and moved my way up. I worked on the finish line till about 1995 and then moved to the sample repair, where we finessed our samples do very fine detail. From there I went to group leader for the duration, until the plant closed. I supervised about 100 people there.

Education:

Mountain Empire Community College; Where I am was working toward my degree in Business Management. I need three classes to complete my program and have my degree in Business Management.

Have had experience with spray guns and equipment, repair and rebuilding. Operation of tow motors and also can operate various types of saws, giben, gang rip, shapers etc. I have experience with various types of hand and air tools.
