Senior Reporting Analyst – Worked at American Home Patient as a contractor developing various SSRS reports for management. These reports were developed in both Oracle and SQL Server environments.

HCA / HealthTrust, 2011 - 2015

Senior Compliance Analyst - Worked with GPO Operations Account Directors and other managers to improve and streamline the compliance report processing and develop Quarterly Business Review reports. These reports were developed using SSRS, SQL and MicroStrategy. Also maintained and loaded various small SQL Server databases using SSIS, developed Microsoft InfoPath applications and various Microsoft SharePoint sites. I also served as Project Manager on the Compliance and Bid Analysis Project.

TekSystems, 2009 - 2011

Database Consultant for QinetiQ North America - Systems Engineering Group on their Condition Based Maintenance Data Warehouse (CBMDW) team as an Oracle data warehouse developer. Work included documenting, developing, maintaining and debugging PL/SQL packages in an Oracle 10g environment for ETL processing. The work also included performance tuning and optimization of programs in a large enterprise-level data warehouse used by the U.S. Army.

CSS Staffing, 2008 – 2009

Database Analyst for the Boeing Company where I worked on the migration and implementation of EPACS Common Systems project. This work included data analysis, data preparation and conversion for movement from the existing Solumina Manufacturing System to an Oracle based Visiprise MES.

CACI / AlphaInsight Corporation, 1995 - 2006

Senior Database Analyst / Developer - The National Institutes of Health / National Library of Medicine (NLM). Responsibilities involved database design and program development in support of the NLM's publication conversion process. This process required use of the Oracle Developer/2000 software and PL/SQL to create packages and procedures that moved all publication processing from an IBM mainframe to a client/server Oracle9i environment. I served as technical consultant to the NLM SERIALS staff for OCCS. Designed the Serials database and developed various programs and applications for processing and reporting the information. In addition to database development, I also designed and developed various publications for NLM including the List of Serials, List of Journals and the Index Medicus using Oracle procedures and XML formatted data.

Senior Software Analyst - Department of Defense Education Activity team that developed a data warehouse application. The client/server application used various data warehouses for financial reporting and school staff, and student information. Responsibilities included software development, system documentation and database administration of an Oracle7 database that contained more than one million records. The application used Oracle7, Oracle Express, and Oracle Discoverer.

Project Manager - Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS) project. Responsible for providing overall direction to the project, ensuring that all deliverables were met in a timely manner, preparing project status reports, meeting regularly with the DS COTR, managing AlphaInsight staff members, signing timecards, preparing performance reviews, handling discipline problems, hiring and firing of personnel, preparing written and oral presentation. Also was responsible for providing life-cycle management and technical support, including system analysis, design, development, planning, analysis, and conversion support for migrating applications to client/server environments; telecommunications and network administration; and system security and support.

Heavily involved with helping DS migrate mission critical applications from a Wang VS environment to a Oracle7 client/server based environment. Work involved preparing detailed conversion and implementation plans to facilitate the smooth migration of selected data and application from Wang VS systems to IBM RS6000 AIX and PC client/server Windows NT environments.

Also, I performed Oracle database administration duties in a multi-server Windows NT environment. The work included the Installation of an Oracle7 database engine, creation of database instances and tablespaces as well as setting up numerous Oracle clients.

Designed and developed numerous case tracking, financial management, and personnel management application using ERwin, Oracle Developer/2000 and Borland Delphi 2.0.
