Stock Control Manager – DHL Supply Chain (Morrison’s Contract)

June 2009 – Present

Main Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing all inventory control related activities. To manage and maintain the company’s stock inventory, including stock profiles and locations.

Manage and control inventory stock counting/ inventory accuracy checks.

The production of daily reports to ensure that all areas of the stock system are controlled and any discrepancies are addressed and resolved.

Write and maintain accurate written procedures for all main administration processes.

Responsible for working with purchasing and good’s inwards to ensure that all necessary functions are carried out correctly. To ensure that incoming deliveries are managed appropriately according to the company procedure.

Responsible for the management of both the good’s in and stock control teams, to ensure sufficient support is provided at all times to meet the needs of the company.

Ensuring the smooth running of warehouse operations, and providing cover for other members of management when required.
